Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), or commonly referred to as drones, are the primary flying platform we use to deliver video, images or mapping/surveying products that ProtoVisual can provide. They are evolving as fast today as the Internet was back in the early 1990s! Every few months a new capability is added that would have been science fiction a mere decade ago. The cameras now being carried on ProtoVisual’s drones are 4 times as dense in pixels as a 1080p television was a few years ago. It allows the accuracy for survey work to be accomplished down to a centimeter (approx. a 1/2” in length). The software called AutoCAD can take in those images from our UAV drone and then create an output file that is able to be exported to ERSI/Arcmap for use. Point clouds of cellular towers for instance can detect even the slightest change in shape over time by providing the ability digitally overlay images for historical comparisons over time.
The software, the UAV flying platforms used to gather the photos, video and data is all evolving but the constant business practices of finishing a project on time and producing the deliverables as promised, will be a constant long into the future!
We here at ProtoVisual with our cumulative experiences can deliver that performance for your needs! Let us help you increase safety and save your company money with our aerial photography services!
